Casie Davidson is a partner in SPSR’s Casualty and Commercial Litigation Sections. She represents clients, including Fortune 50 companies, in commercial, casualty, and insurance litigation disputes in state and federal courts, and in arbitration and mediation venues throughout Louisiana and Texas. She has particularly deep experience in trucking and transportation litigation, premises liability and contract disputes, insurance coverage litigation, and related matters.

Clients appreciate Casie’s collaborative approach to resolving matters quickly and in a manner that minimizes their exposure and disruption to their business operations. When it is in her clients’ interest to litigate, Casie has a strong record of providing a robust and wellprepared defense. She recently served as second chair in a two-week jury trial in the French Quarter of New Orleans for a $10M tort case. The trial team argued for and won a rare Motion for a Directed Verdict which was celebrated by the client and widely covered in local and legal media.

Because of her extensive experience with plaintiff’s counsel, Casie can quickly determine whether a plaintiff firm has a track record for being open to early resolution or one for manufacturing a larger case. She is adept at resolving claims quickly and on terms that are favorable to her client. She is also experienced in frustrating the aggressive tactics of advertising plaintiff firms because she is familiar with their playbook and stays a step ahead.

Likewise, Casie’s deep-rooted and trusted relationships with her clients’ management teams and directors alongside her professional connections with other large corporations’ legal counsel enables her to resolve matters with remarkable efficiency.

Casie is an active member of SPSR’s Women In Law Initiative which hosts, sponsors, and participates in a range of training programs, networking opportunities, and events designed to support women lawyers at every career level. She is also an Executive Board Member of the Anti-Defamation League and past Co-Chair of its Civil Rights Committee, and a Past Advisory Board Member and Founding Class Member of Emerging Philanthropists of New Orleans.

Casie holds her B.A. degree from the University of Georgia, Magna Cum Laude and her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center. She is admitted in Florida, Louisiana, and Texas.
