Ashlyn F. Vickers, an associate with the firm, practices commercial, casualty, and insurance litigation. She received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While there, she served as a member of both the Loyola Law Review and Moot Court. She also served as a Writing Lab Assistant for LAWYERING I, a required legal writing class for all law students in which Ashlyn earned the highest grade the year prior.

Ashlyn received the Warren E. Mouledoux Professional Responsibility Award, awarded to the student who receives the highest grade in LAWYERING III. She served as a student practitioner in the Stuart H. Smith Criminal Law Clinic, where she obtained significant practical experience defending juvenile and adult criminal matters in court proceedings in New Orleans. Ashlyn clerked at several Louisiana law firms throughout law school, including SPSR, before joining the firm full time after graduation.

Prior to law school, Ashlyn earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in Political Science from Southeastern Louisiana University. While at Southeastern, Ashlyn worked at the 21st JDC District Attorney’s office in Amite, Louisiana.

Ashlyn lives with her husband in Hammond, where they enjoy spending time with their many animals.
