Our clients include business owners and executives, professionals, real estate investors, and other high-net-worth individuals. We utilize wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, advance directives, powers of attorney, legal entities, private foundations, and other estate planning tools to help our clients develop comprehensive plans that address:

  • Wealth Transfers
  • Successions
  • Planning for Children with Disabilities
  • Elder Care Planning
  • Tutorships and Interdictions

Estate Administration

Our attorneys have extensive experience in probate and trust administration. We assist all parties involved with all aspects of the process, from the appointment and replacement of personal representatives to the management of trust assets over periods of years or decades. Our services include:

Probate and Trust Administration

We offer skilled legal representation for all interested parties during the probate and trust administration processes. This includes representing family members as well as financial institutions and other corporate entities that have been named as personal representatives, trustees and beneficiaries.

Advising Fiduciaries

Personal representatives and trustees are subject to strict fiduciary duties, and failure to adhere to these duties can lead to personal liability. Our attorneys advise fiduciaries regarding their legal obligations and help them make informed decisions that duly serve the interests of the estate and its beneficiaries.

Dispute Resolution Involving Heirs and Legatees

Disputes between heirs, beneficiaries and other legatees are common during probate and trust administration. Particularly when these disputes are among family members, it is often in everyone’s best interests to find an amicable resolution. Our estate administration attorneys have extensive experience handling these types of disputes and striving to protect our clients’ interests by the most-efficient and least-contentious means possible.
