Josh represents clients, including Fortune 50 companies, in commercial, casualty, and insurance litigation disputes in state and federal courts throughout Louisiana and Texas, and in arbitration and mediation venues throughout the country. He has handled major jury trials involving catastrophic injuries and fatalities, and his experience covers all fields of casualty litigation, including transportation and trucking, premises liability, product liability, mass tort, and general negligence cases. Josh works with high-volume litigation clients to craft strategies to meet macro-level litigation goals to minimize their exposures and disruptions to their business operations. On a micro-level, he provides his clients with a robust and deliberate defense designed to take advantage of the dispute resolution venue.
Josh serves as SPSR’s client team leader and regional counsel for a Fortune 20 company for its litigation needs in both Texas and Louisiana. As the Relationship Partner for that client, Josh models high and uncompromising standards of quality and ensures that the client receives high-quality work product from our well-integrated team and ensures that every member of the team completes a comprehensive client-oriented training program at SPSR’s expense. The training covers the client’s business objectives and legal service needs and preferences. Josh has developed significant experience and skill in managing high-exposure litigation throughout state and federal court in both Louisiana and Texas.
Josh is active in community and Bar Association programs and initiatives; is a member of the American Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, and New Orleans Bar Association. He has been an active member of the Greater New Orleans, Inc. NextGen Council and is a graduate of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section National Trial Academy. In 2026, Josh was named to the 2026 edition of Best Lawyers in America for his work in personal injury litigation for defendants.
Josh earned his J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and his B.A. from the University of New Orleans.
