Kevin practices maritime/admiralty law and insurance defense litigation. His clients include vessel owners/operators/charterers, marine facilities/terminals, and barge fleet owners/operators. He handles matters starting from the initial investigation through trial, if necessary, in cases involving Jones Act personal injury claims, collisions and allisions, vessels arrests, the Limitation of Liability Act 905(b), the Longshore and Workers’ Compensation Act as well advising clients on various maritime transactions and other commercial matters. Kevin also has experience handling insurance matters concerning automobile/trucking casualty, homeowners insurance claims, and flood insurance claims.
Whether a client faces an issue over a fairly recent collision or an injury that occurred years ago, Kevin approaches the situation by taking the necessary time to investigate in order to determine the full scope of the incident and the range of options available to his clients. He prides himself on conducting a thorough initial analysis, while at the same time working as efficiently as possible to determine the right amount of resources to be allocated and the best course of action, treating the client’s money as though it were his own.
During law school, Kevin developed an interest in maritime law, and he has focused his practice on this area for most of his decade-long legal career.
