SPSR Legal Team Secures Directed Verdict in a Long-Standing Noise Ordinance Case

On Friday, May 19, 2023, SPSR secured a directed verdict for its client, Pat O’Brien’s. In the suit, filed almost 20 years ago in Civil District Court, the plaintiffs alleged that the noise levels coming from the bar and its restaurant damaged their home and caused them distress. In addition, they sought over $10 million in damages. After four days of testimony, the judge granted a directed verdict in favor of Pat O’Brien’s.
