SPSR Adds Two New Associates to the Team

SPSR is excited to announce that Amelia “Mia” Sylvest and Macy Heroman have joined the firm in the New Orleans office.  

Mia graduated cum laude from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where she was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honor Society and the Journal of Public Interest Law.  During law school, she served as a summer law clerk to the Honorable Judge D’Souza in Orleans Civil District Court and a Professor’s Research Assistant.  Mia received her B.A. from Louisiana State University.

Macy graduated cum laude from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University where she earned her J.D and Diploma in Comparative Law.  During law school, she was a Senior Editor and Junior Associate of the Journal of Energy Law and Resources, where her article “Waive” Goodbye to Special Treatment: The Unconstitutionality of Section 209(b) of the Clean Air Act in State of Ohio v. EPA and How Congress Can Fix It was published in Volume XIII, Issue 2 of the Journal.  She also served as an extern in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana with the Honorable Magistrate Judge Erin Wilder-Doomes. Macy received her B.S., magna cum laude, from Spring Hill College.
