Simon Peragine Welcomes Two New Associates to the Firm

New Orleans, LA – May 4, 2026 – Simon, Peragine, Smith & Redfearn, LLP (SPSR), one of Louisiana’s preeminent law firms, announced today the addition of two new associates, further strengthening the firm’s depth.

Tevin L. Rosenthal, who joined our firm earlier this year as a recent graduate, will focus his practice in insurance litigation, bad faith claims, and coverage disputes. He will be involved in all phases of litigation, including case strategy, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation, and will assist in the representation of insurers in complex coverage and liability disputes. Tevin graduated from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law earning his J.D. During law school, Tevin was a member of the Loyola Maritime Law Journal, a member of the International Law Society, and a recipient of the Ignatian Law Scholar award. He received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration from Southeastern University in 2021.

Borjius J. Guient joins our construction practice group and will be assisting in all phases of litigation and trial preparation. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable J. Sterling Snowdy and obtained invaluable experience drafting judicial opinions, orders, and bench memoranda on dispositive and procedural motions. He conducted statutory and case law research to aid in judicial decision making. In addition, Borjius attended civil and criminal hearings and trials giving him first-hand knowledge of courtroom procedures.

Borjius graduated from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University earning both his J.D. and D.C.L. in 2024. During law school, he served as an Extern at the LSU Office of Innovation and Technology Commercialization where he drafted disclosure evaluations and amendments to licensing agreements and reviewed various intellectual property licensing agreements. He also served as an Extern to the Honorable Nannette Jolivette Brown, Chief Judge of the Eastern District of Louisiana. Borjius received his B.A., magna cum laude, from Louisiana State University in 2021.
