In Memoriam – Robert L. Redfearn

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Robert L. Redfearn, a founding partner of the firm. Bob devoted more than 66 years of his life to the practice of law, concentrating his practice in oil and gas transactions, securities litigation, mergers & acquisitions, while serving clients in courts across the country.  As the Chairman of the Castano Plaintiffs Legal Committee, an association of more than fifty law firms throughout the United States, which sued the tobacco companies, he was instrumental in the national resolution of claims against the tobacco industry. Bob was well known for his sharp legal mind, calm demeanor, and his ability to find common ground among people.  He will be greatly missed both by the firm and all who had the privilege to know him.
