Mr. Redfearn is a commercial litigator who practices primarily in the area of civil litigation involving product liability. He represents several large national companies and insurers for a variety of general liability matters, ranging from asbestos and silica-related injuries, chemical injuries, product defect issues, slip-and-falls, and car accidents. He manages, handles and litigates asbestos and silica litigation throughout the state involving thousands of plaintiffs. He has also written a variety of coverage opinions concerning CGL and homeowners policies. In the oil and gas field, Mr. Redfearn has been involved in acquisitions, mergers, MMS issues and the negotiations of mineral leases and servitudes.
In addition, Mr. Redfearn has engaged in class action litigation against the tobacco industry, and has actively represented Business Economic Loss claimants, both for-profit and non-profit entities, who suffered damages in connection with the BP Oil Spill from the Oil Rig Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico on April 20, 2010.
