Windsor Richmond and Kelly Gismondi Secure Clemency

On September 20, 2023, Windsor Richmond and Kelly Gismondi represented Mr. Gregory Leeming before the Louisiana Parole Board, where he was granted immediate parole and released to live with his family out-of-state. Mr. Leeming spent 32 years at the Louisiana State Penitentiary, where he served as a trustee and worked at the Interfaith Chapel. In 2021, the Louisiana Pardon Board unanimously recommended clemency to Governor Jon Bel Edwards and in March 2023, Governor Edwards granted him clemency, making him immediately eligible for parole. Their hard work on behalf of  Mr. Leeming reinforces the vital role that clemency plays in our communities and the firm’s commitment to pro bono work.
