Taylor Willis brings an outstanding work ethic and notable professionalism to her commercial litigation practice, wherein she handles maritime and general insurance defense litigation.
In her maritime practice, Taylor handles a wide range of litigation, including matters arising under the Jones Act, Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act, and Limitation of Liability Act, as well as catastrophic property damage and premises liability.
In her general insurance practice, Taylor works on first-party property defense claims, including hurricanes, wind/hail events, and fire claims. Additionally, she represents regional transportation companies and their insurers in a manner of issues, ranging from underinsured motorist coverage to transportation services.
At her previous firm, Taylor served employers, adjusters, individual plaintiffs, and private companies while gaining valuable hands-on experience in discovery, depositions, motion practice, and presenting arguments in court.
