Hannah Stierwald litigates a diverse array of matters in federal court and defends insurers’ interests given the nuanced issues at play in Louisiana state courts. She works on matters related to insurance coverage disputes, trucking and transportation accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, toxic torts, and hurricane damage. Hannah has argued numerous substantive and procedural matters. She has developed a familiarity with opposing counsel’s tactics and honed her motion practice skillset to vigorously defend her client’s position. Skilled at digesting the facts of the case, identifying potential strengths or weaknesses, and recommending case plans, Hannah excels at case management. She selects physicians and other experts for the medical review panel process and manages discovery and drafting. 

Immediately following law school, Hannah interned for the Hon. Joy Cossich Lobrano and worked as a legal secretary for the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. She also worked as a Summer Legal Extern in the Enforcement division of the U.S. Financial Regulatory Agency (FINRA), and as an office administrator for financial advisors.  Hannah received her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2023 and was the Substance and Citation Editor for The Loyola Law Review. She earned her B.S. in Marketing from Louisiana State University in 2020.
