Alexandra “Alex” Celio centers her practice around transportation matters and premises liability. She works closely with clients, third party administrators, and adjusters to help mitigate risk and exposure after catastrophic accidents. Frequently involved at the ground level, Alex spearheads gathering and preserving evidence in accordance with federal trucking regulations to guide clients in pre-suit accident investigations. In addition, Alex advises on related insurance coverage and contractual risk transfers involving interstate transportation. She regularly obtains favorable results for clients through motion practice, mediation and settlement negotiations.
A Lafayette native, Alex graduated from Louisiana State University in 2016 and from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2019. While at Loyola, she was Moot Court Chair, oralist and briefwriter on the Constitutional Criminal Procedure Moot Court Team, and a member of both the Journal of Public Interest Law and Order of Barristers. While competing on her Moot Court team, Alex and her partner placed second at the national Constitutional Criminal Procedure competition.
