Matt Clute is a litigation associate whose practice focuses on insurance defense, premises liability, transportation, and general casualty matters. He assists clients with all phases of litigation, including motion practice, discovery, and claim evaluation.

Matt earned his J.D. and Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where he served on the Board of Advocates and was a finalist in the 2022 Transactional Negotiation Competition. During law school, he externed with the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office and gained valuable experience as a summer associate at two New Orleans firms.

Before law school, Matt earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama and received a master’s degree in Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a concentration in Russian, Eurasian, and Eastern European Studies.

He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state courts and is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association.
