Major Commercial Litigation
The firm has handled major litigation involving energy, contract, environmental law, lease and other real estate disputes and a diverse array of commercial cases for oil and gas and other natural resource companies, major pipelines, owners and developers of office buildings and other commercial real estate properties for corporate and individual clients. Frank Peragine, Bob Redfearn, Tom Blum, Jim Burton, Chris Guidroz, Tom Fischer, and several other lawyers have all been involved in major commercial litigation.
Construction
The firm's construction law practice group, headed by Bruce Shreves, is extremely active in all phases of construction-related legal matters for contractors, architects, engineers and their insurers. Jay Kern, Herman Hoffmann and Denise Puente are also key partners in this area.

The firm represents many oil & gas and other energy-related corporations in all phases of transactional and title work, and litigation matters. Bob Redfearn, Guy Smith and Robert Redfearn Jr. are very active in the firm's oil & gas practice.

The firm has a large presence in the insurance defense area through Dan Caruso and Ken Bowen. Also, Tom Blum serves as national counsel in product liability litigation for American Optical Corporation, which manufactured air purifying respirators, masks and other equipment. Sue Kohn and Doug Redfearn also are extremely involved in this area.
