NATHAN L. SCHRANTZ

Mr. Schrantz graduated cum laude from Milsaps College ( Jackson , MS ) with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1989.  He received his Juris Doctor degree from the Tulane University School of Law in 1992.  

Mr. Schrantz is admitted to practice in Louisiana before all state and federal courts and has a broad civil litigation background and his practice specializes in insurance coverage disputes, casualty, products liability and worker’s compensation matters.  He has tried jury trials on behalf of civil defendants, civil plaintiffs and criminal defendants.  He is uniquely qualified in insurance coverage matters both in rendering coverage opinions and through extensive experience in litigation of insurance coverage disputes at all levels of both state and federal court.  Also, Mr. Schrantz has litigated compensation claims on behalf of employers in Worker’s Compensation Courts throughout the state of Louisiana .  He has successfully argued appeals before both Louisiana State and Federal Appellate Courts.

Mr. Schrantz is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute and Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.  He also participates in Pro Bono cases, primarily through representation of the criminally accused.
