MARY M. SMYTHE

Ms. Smythe graduated from the University of the South with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 1995.  She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2000.  While attending law school, she was Vice-President of Delta Theta Phi Legal Fraternity.

Ms. Smythe is admitted to practice in all federal and state courts in Louisiana and her practice primarily focuses in the area of premises and product liability matters.  She also practices in the areas of general civil litigation, personal injury, insurance coverage and defense and toxic tort defense.

Ms. Smythe is a member of the American Bar Association, Louisiana State Bar Association, New Orleans Bar Association, Defense Research Institute and Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel.  She also is a volunteer for Start the Adventure in Reading (STAIR) and ARK of Greater New Orleans.
