HERMAN C. HOFFMANN, JR.

Mr. Hoffmann graduated first in his class from the College of Business Administration of Loyola University in New Orleans in 1969. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola in 1971, graduating in the top 5% of his class. He is a member of Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honor Fraternity.

Mr. Hoffmann's practice has been principally as trial counsel in litigation involving a broad range of issues including public and private construction contract disputes, federal government contracting, federal and state securities laws, accountant malpractice, fidelity bond coverages, consumer claims, antitrust and trade practice claims, income tax liability, products liability and personal injury. He also has been engaged in a transactional practice involving real estate closings, contract negotiation, financing and vessel documentation, mortgaging, selling and chartering. In addition, he has represented both debtors and creditors in bankruptcy.

He is a member of the Louisiana Associated General Contractors, the Associated Builders' & Contractors, the Strategic Task Force on Education, the Committee for a Better Jefferson and the Jefferson Business Coalition. Mr. Hoffman also is a member of the Hillcrest Estates Club, Inc. and Hillcrest Estates Community Association.
