CHARLES A. WATSON

Mr. Watson attended Baylor University (B.B.A., Risk management, with honors, 1983) ; and South Texas College of law (J.D., 1987). He was admitted to bar 1988, Texas; also admitted to practice before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern District of Texas.

Mr. Watson is a member of the Defense Research Institute, Inc. (Environmental Litigation and Insurance Coverage Committees); Texas Association of Defense Counsel; Houston (Sections: Environmental; Litigation), American (Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law Section) and Federal bar Association; State Bar of Texas (Section: Environmental; Litigation); Contributing Author: Practice and Procedure Newsletter, 1990-91; Law and Business Directory of Environmental Attorneys; testifying expert: Insurance Coverage/Indemnity issues; Greater Houston partnership (Limited Partner); International Association of Drilling Contractors (Associate Membership); Houston Grand Opera (Event Chair); Governors Club Advisory Board (1994-1997); Plaza club (Board of Directors, 1993-present); Chairman, Houston Society Board of Governors and Houston Society Executive Committee member (1997-2002); Museum of Fine Arts (Membership Committee, 1994-1995). Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo Committeeman: Corral Club, High Bidders, tickets Sales., Mr. Watson participated as a guest speaker for an Insurance and Risk management Seminar pertaining to the Oil & Gas Industry (2003).

Mr. Watson is a member of the firm of Simon, Peragine, Redfearn & Watson, L.L.P. Mr. Watson is also the managing partner of Watson-Rossick and has practiced in several specialized areas of law, including business litigation, contact construction, environmental and toxic tort, insurance coverage, oil & gas, products and premises liability litigation. Mr., Watson is a partner in Haenchen & Watson, L.L.P., a lobbying, complete litigation and dispute resolution firm based in Houston and Austin, Texas. He is the owner of South Texas Dispute Resolution Services, Inc. a company dedicated to the successful alternative dispute resolution, and a Vice President of Linnae Corporation.
