H. BRUCE SHREVESMr. Shreves is a leading practitioner in the area of construction, fidelity, surety and director and officer liability law. He graduated in 1965 from Holy Cross College, and in 1969 from Georgetown University Law School. Prior to entering private practice he worked in the United States Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Washington, D.C., and as a prosecutor in the Judge Advocate General Corps, United States Army. Mr. Shreves has been a speaker at many seminars and programs sponsored by the American Bar Association and other professional organizations. He is the author of a number of papers and articles in the fidelity, surety and construction law areas and is co-author of books entitled Construction Law in Louisiana (1983) and Louisiana Construction Law and Mechanics Liens (1987). He also served as editor of Surety Law (1984). He has co-authored The Annotated Commercial Blanket Bond, as well as Defense Research Institute Monographs on The Miller Act and on Discovery of Dishonesty Under a Fidelity Bond. Mr. Shreves is active in the American Bar Association, where he serves on the Forum Committee on the Construction Industry and as chair of the Fidelity and Surety Committee of the Tort and Insurance Practice Section, and he serves as Chair of the Louisiana State Bar's Committee on Fidelity, Committee and Construction Law.
